But I still think I will use a bungi cord, somehow to secure the computer in place. Fortunately, I was able to straighten it with a pliers.I use this with an ASUS mini, which weighs only 2 lbs.(9"), so it is comfortable. I tried using it with a 14" and 15" laptop, but the computer did not feel secure and the "desk" wobbled around too much.All in all, it does make it possible to type with 2 hands while standing up and moving around. The product does what it says, but the materials are very flimsy. There is nothing to prevent your laptop from sliding off the tray.Mine came with one of the connection clasps bent so it wouldn't close.
I was able to take it home, rinse it off and works to this day. Screen was still lit up because it is one of those rugged model (thank my tush). Finally after the tank was almost empty I found it.
(i love woot) and had to buy one. You guessed it.my new laptop ploped right into the Glazer's spetic tank and sunk below the brown sludge that forms. I saw a clip for this on Woot.
I jumped in and searched but just could find my laptop. Still smell like the Glazer's but at least I'm not out $3000.As for the Connect-A-Desk.it is at the bottom of the Glazer's septic holding tank.If you need any septic work please let me know.Harold. Well all of a sudden I have great suction going at the Glazer's house when I need to slightly lean over and pick yup my on off wrench.
It is very comfortable. I do in home consultations which requires that I walk around taking detailed notes. I chose to remove it and it is still very comfortable. The only thing to take note of is that the foam strip at the bottom is only attached with one square of velcro; which makes it a bit flimsy. This has made my life so much easier. It has literally cut my consult time in half.
I use my laptop a lot for work and I have to use it in the field all the time. I can't tell you how many times I set my laptop down and left it somewhere or temporarily misplaced it.
I use it almost daily. I don't have to worry about that any more.The straps are surprisingly comfortable and it really seems to hold up well so far.
What a great idea. Before I was always having to find somewhere to sit my laptop down to enter data and do schematics.
I would recommend this to anyone who uses their laptop on the go. I received one as a gift from a friend and now I can't live without it.
This really makes it convenient for me.
